HENRICO, Va. (WRIC) — Officers responded to a vehicle that ran off the road and struck a house located on the 5900 block of Kelbrook Lane in Henrico.
Investigation reveals that 37-year-old Laurissa Jarvis, of the 6000 block of Collinstone drive in Glenn Allen, drove off the road and through two yards before striking the garage of the house.
The vehicle has $6,000 worth of damage and the home has bricks that are damaged on one end of the garage and the interior suffered damage too.
Jarvis’s 7-year-old son was in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Neither of them were injured.
Jarvis has been charged with driving under the influence with a child in the vehicle, assault on law enforcement officers, refusing to submit to a blood test or breath test, obstruction of justice, and child endangerment.
