CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WRIC) — One person suffered minor injuries after a car crashed into a bank on Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield.
The incident occurred at roughly noon Wednesday at the Connects Federal Credit Union in the 9900 block of Midlothian Turnpike.
According to police, a 2009 Hyundai Genesis ran off Robious Road while traveling eastbound, crossed the bank’s parking lot and struck the columns supporting the awning of the building.
62-year-old Jung Shon of the 2800 block of Barrow Place was the vehicle’s only occupant and suffered minor injuries.
She is being charged with reckless driving.
