HANOVER CO., Va. (WRIC) — Hanover Police are seeking information of a man who stole a pair of shoes and money from the Famous Footwear in the 7200 block of Belle Creek Road on Wednesday.
The robbery occurred shortly after 7 p.m.
According to police, the suspect entered the store, picked out a pair of shoes and approached the counter. He then produced a handgun and ordered the store clerk to put money from the register into the shoe box. The clerk complied, and the suspect then fled the store on foot.
Police have released a photo of the suspect’s vehicle as it fled the parking lot.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-to-late 20s with reddish-blond hair. He is approximately 5-foot-7 or 5-foot-8 inches tall weighing anywhere from 230-250 pounds.
