RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — An apartment fire that broke out Monday afternoon on Stuart Avenue has been determined to have been caused by improperly displaced smoking materials.
The fire left extensive damage to the top of a four apartment building in the Museum District.
Firefighters had the blaze contained in under an hour.
One tenant has been displaced.
