HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) – U.S. Marshalls were fired upon after trying to serve a warrant to Stanley Roscoe Coles III at a Super 8 Motel off of Williamsburg Road on Monday afternoon. Henrico County Police say that after firing at the marshals, Cole turned his gun on himself.
He died from the self-inflicted gunshot.
Coles was wanted in connection with the Aug. 22 robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 7202 Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield County.
