Hopewell, Va (WRIC) – A vehicle that was driven by an elderly couple hit the Denny’s at 5111 Oaklawn Boulevard. Fire officials say that the male driver got his foot stuck on the gas pedal accidentally.
The SUV did not stop until it hit the front counter inside the business. Due to the excessive damage to the structure the Denny’s will be closed until further notice.
According to officials there were no injuries in this incident
