RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A drug bust made inside the new Richmond city jail.
Last Wednesday, authorities were tipped off that two inmates in the Richmond City Justice Center had heroin. After a search, the two in question fessed up.
Sheriff C.T. Woody says it was later revealed that the pair got the drugs from another inmate, Jon Lewis, Jr.
Authorities say Lewis then admitted to sneaking the heroin in September 4.
