RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Another day of dreary and somewhat damp weather is on tap for the area. Tonight will be cloudy and misty over us and that will keep our overnight lows in the lower to middle 60s. Tuesday will stay cloudy and there will be some off and on patchy rain. By no means a washout, but just enough to keep things damp in the area. Highs will reach the lower to middle 70s.
This area of unsettled weather will slip to the out of the region for Wednesday and Thursday. That will allow for partly sunny skies to return with highs in the upper 70s to around 80. So for the Elite Men’s Time Trial on Wednesday, things are looking mild and dry.
For the end of the week, I am watching the potential of a storm developing along with coastline. This looks like it will be lifting north from Thursday night through Saturday night. That will mean clouds over and as a risk of rainfall as it stands right now. Friday looks to be the wettest of the days with another reasonable risk of rain on Saturday. This could affect the UCI road races each day. Highs will only be in the middle 70s. Sunday, the risk of rain might drop enough to not be a factor in the Elite Men’s Road Race.
