HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Crews responded to a house fire Friday night located on the 100 block of North Holly Avenue.
When fire units arrived on the scene, they reported smoke coming form the front of the home. Once they went inside they found a fire in the kitchen.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly.
The fire was caused by unattended cooking in the kitchen.
The family of 2 adults and 4 children were able to make it out of the house uninjured. They will be displaced from their home for a short period of time.
