RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Four candidates hoping to win the 10th district seat in the Virginia Senate will face off Tuesday night at a Town Hall at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Tonight’s town hall comes just two weeks before the election. There, the four candidates will be taking questions from young voters at VCU, 907 Floyd Avenue, starting at 6 p.m.
The 10th district includes parts of VCU’s campus as well as parts of Chesterfield and Powhatan Counties. This particular race could determine who controls the Virginia General Assembly.
At the event, you’ll hear from Republican Glen Sturtevant, Democrat Dan Gecker, Libertarian Carl Loser and independent Marleen Durfee. They’ll be taking questions from a panel of young voters put together by Virginia 21. The candidates will also take questions from the audience.
The event is open to the public, though you must register beforehand. Click here for more information.
