RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Showers and somewhat squally weather look to be on tap for the area through just after midnight. It looks like a line of showers (thunder is doubtful) will organize in the evening hours and pass through the area. This could bring some 35mph-40mph winds gusts through.
Clouds remain overnight and we will see mild overnight lows near 60. Thursday will end up being a partly sunny day with mild highs in the middle 70s. Thursday night will be clear and cooler as lows fall down to the upper 40s.
Friday and Saturday will be sunny, but highs will be in the lower 60s both days. Either morning would be a good time to get up before sunrise if you have an unobstructed view to the east. Look for the “triangle” of bright stars. It’s actually Venus, Jupiter and Mars very close together (saw it last Friday on the way to the airport).
The weather will be fine for the Trick-or-Treaters on Halloween with temps in the 50s. Clouds are on the way back Sunday, but the risk of rain should hold off until the evening hours. (Don’t hold off on setting the clocks back and hour, though!. I grew up 4 doors from the church and you won’t want to be the one showing up for mass an hour early!)
Monday expect to see some rain, and it could linger into Tuesday over the area. Highs through the middle of next week will be in the mid-60s to near 70.
