RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — This week on Good Morning Richmond, we’re taking a look at different hacks to help you in everyday life.
Today is about hacks you can do in your office.
Here’s a trick to build an iPhone speaker to add a little bit of music to your work day. All you need to do is find yourself an empty toilet paper roll, cut a slit in it that you can put the iPhone in, take two cups and cut holes in them, put them together, slide the toilet paper tube into the cup on either end to act as the speakers. Then get your iPhone, slide it in there and voila! It plays your music!
This one happens everyday. You roll into work, go into the break room to grab a cup of coffee and see a pot with what you think is freshly brewed coffee — but there’s no way of telling when it was made. Good news: there’s a hack for that! Grab two empty cups and a sharpie to concoct a timer saying when the coffee was made, so whoever made it last moves the dial around to show you exactly when that pot of coffee was made.
We use this trick in the 8News break room!
