RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Finally! Clear skies have move back into central Virginia and that will allow for sunny skies today along with seasonable temperatures as we climb into to the lower 60s.
A few high clouds will move across the region tonight and it will be cool with lows in the middle to upper 40s.
Our next weather system will move closer on Thursday and actually pass just north of Virginia. However, it will be close enough to give us partly sunny skies with a chance of a shower or two in the afternoon. Our highs will be mild, out ahead of this system, as we climb into the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Sunshine will return for Friday and it will be seasonable with highs in the middle 60s.
That will begin our long stretch of dry sunny weather with highs in the upper 50s over the weekend and then we will see a moderation into the lower and middle 60s for Monday and Tuesday, with the possibility of reaching 70 by Wednesday.
