CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA (WRIC) – The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred in the 12000 block of Second Branch Road at about 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
Police said a vehicle was traveling south on Second Branch Rd. when it lost control and struck a tree. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver was transported by helicopter to MCV. No other passengers were in the vehicle. The identities of both men are being withheld at this time pending notification of the next of kin.
Police continue their investigation into this crash.
