CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chad Hensley, the 18-year-old who stabbed a classmate at Manchester High School last fall, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Thursday.
Hensley will serve a total of eight years, according to Chesterfield County’s Commonwealth’s Attorney.
The incident occurred on the morning of October 13, 2014. Police say Hensley brought a knife to school and stabbed a fellow 17-year-old classmate. The victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Hensley was charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
