FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (AP) – Spotsylvania County authorities are investigating after a woman was found dead in a vehicle at the end of a driveway.
Deputies discovered 21-year-old Heather Ciccone’s body inside a parked vehicle. She appeared to have suffered severe trauma to her upper body. An exact cause of death has not yet been determined.
Reports say a resident called the sheriff’s office shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday to report a vehicle at the end of their driveway that they did not recognize. They also said the driver appeared unresponsive.
Police don’t know of any connection between Ciccone and the residence.
