HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Crews responded to a fire overnight in Henrico County.
Officials say that units responded to a reported structure fire in the Dumbarton section of the County at the 6700 block of Wilbur Circle at 3:26 a.m. Sunday.First arriving firefighters found a small fire burning through the side of a medium sized single family home. The fire started in the downstairs kitchen wall. The fire was quickly extinguished by the first arriving fire crews minutes after arrival.

There was very minor smoke and fire damage done to the residence. The cause was determined to be accidental.
Those inside the home were awakened and alerted to the fire by their smoke alarm. Everyone inside was able to make it out of the home on their own. One occupant was treated for smoke inhalation and exposure on the scene, but did not require transportation to the hospital.
The occupants will not be displaced from their home.
