RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Fire crews rescued a woman who got stuck in a building’s access hatch overnight in Richmond.
Technical rescue companies were able to get the woman out by using a technique to place rope above and below her, capture her arms and legs and pull her out of the hatch.
Officials say the woman was alert and in good condition when she was rescued. She was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
