CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield Police are investigating a shooting late Monday night that left one man dead.
At about 10:30 p.m. on January 11, police responded to The Marketplace convenience store at 6811 Walmsley Boulevard and found the clerk unconscious. The clerk, 55-year-old Harshad Patel, was transported to the hospital, where he later died of an apparent gunshot wound.
