CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — One person is dead after a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus on Chippenham Parkway Friday morning.
According to State Police, a vehicle overturned on Chippenham northbound near the Hull Street Road exit just after 6:30 a.m. Friday. A school bus slowed down because of that crash, and a third vehicle crashed into the back of the school bus. The driver of that third vehicle died at the scene.

There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash. There is no word any other injuries.
All but one lane of northbound Chippenham is blocked and back-ups have been reported.
