CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Friends and neighbors are holding a benefit concert on Sunday, January 24, for the Chesterfield family who lost five loved ones in a house fire.
74-year-old Richard Hudson, 44-year-old Margaret Hudson, 3-year-old Madison Hunt and 1-year-old Colton Elsmer all died in the blaze. Five other family members were pulled out of the home by first responders.
The benefit will be held from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Uptown Alley at 6101 Brad McNeer Parkway, Midlothian. One of the survivors of the fire works at the bowling alley.
The concert will feature free performances by the Pat Russell Band, Sports Bar Rock Star and HonkyTonk Heroes. A silent auction and raffle organized by local businesses will be held at the event. Monetary donations along with clothing and household items will also be collected. All proceeds will benefit the Hudson and Hunt families.
