RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — We will start your day off a bit chilly with temperatures in the 20s but the sunshine will quickly turn things around.
A weak weather system along the east coast will push some clouds back into the region making it a partly sunny day. Highs today will top out near normal which is in the upper 40s. We will have mainly clear to partly cloudy skies tonight and it will be chilly with lows in the lower 30s.
Friday will feature partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 40s.
Milder weather will begin to push into the region on Saturday with sunny skies and highs in the lower 50s.
We will climb to near 60 on Sunday under sunny skies. As we lose more and more snowpack, the temperatures will continue to climb into early next week.
Right now, we are looking at highs near 65 on Monday under mostly sunny skies and we will make a run toward 70 by Tuesday with partly sunny skies.
Our next weather system will approach us by Wednesday bringing us a good chance of rain with highs in the middle 60s.
