Public’s help needed in identifying armed robbery suspects

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) —  Police are searching for the suspects that robbed a store on the 2100 block of Semmes Avenue Tuesday morning.

According to reports, two armed black male suspects whose faces were partially covered entered the store and demanded money.

One suspect had a handgun and the other had a knife.

The two suspects took cash from the store and robbed the only customer inside the store.

The first suspect is described as a 6-foot tall light-skinned black male with a skinny build, approximately 30-years-old, who was wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and a black baseball cap at the time of the incident. The second suspect is described as a 5-foot, 8-inch tall dark-skinned black male, age 24-25, with a medium build wearing black shorts and no shirt.

No one was injured during this robbery.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about these suspects to call Third Precinct Detective William Cutshall at (804) 646-1068 or call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
