HENRICO, Va. (WRIC) — Concourse B has reopened at Richmond International Airport following a security breech caused significant delays for travelers.
According to RIC spokesperson Troy Bell, the breech occurred at roughly 4 p.m. after a person attempted to enter Concourse B without passing through security. That individual was questioned and released.
As a result, all travelers in Concourse B had to be re-screened.
The situation was cleared shortly after 4:30 p.m.
