Two lanes remain closed on I-295 North in Henrico due to a two-vehicle wreck involving a tractor trailer.
According to Virginia State Police, a Buick was traveling in the northbound left lane when it crossed all travel lanes to get off at exit 37 (Mechanicsville). The Buick was then struck by a tractor-trailer, resulting in the tractor-trailer jack-knifing over the guard rail. The Buick went off onto the rightshoulder.
One person was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The tractor-trailer was loaded with adult diapers. There was a fuel leak that has since been contained.
The crash occurred shortly before 6 p.m., however the right lane and right shoulder remain closed.
