HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — Police are seeking the public’s help for information regarding a drive-by shooting that occurred shortly after midnight on Saturday.
The incident occurred in the 500 block of N. 7th Avenue. Police say a car pulled up to the intersection and discharged a single shotgun blast that struck four people with pellets. All four were treated at local hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not released a description of the offender or offenders, but say the vehicle is described as a light colored sedan.
All of the victims were intoxicated, according to police, and could not provide a motive for the shooting.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have been in the area and saw anything suspicious to contact the Hopewell/Prince George Crime Solvers at 541-2202.
