RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — An Allegiant Air flight was on it’s way to Richmond when it was diverted to Greensboro, North Carolina on Monday due to an engine issue.
Alliegiant Air says their maintenance team is currently investigating the cause of the incident.
Passengers boarded another plane to continue their travel to Richmond.
According to Allegiant Air, all passengers will be refunded the flight segment air portion of their itinerary, receive refreshments at the gate, $100 vouchers for future travel and the ability to change their flight to a later date at no fee.
