FBI offering $15,000 reward for Henrico robbery suspect identification

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation would like the public’s help in identifying a suspect that robbed a Brinks Armored Truck and assaulted one of the guards on Friday, July 3.

The FBI reports that two guards arrived at the Wells Fargo, located at 4489 South Laburnum Avenue in Henrico County, to deposit money into the ATM when an unknown black male assaulted one of the guards with a taser. The suspect then grabbed the bag of money and fled the scene on foot across Audubon Drive.

The suspect is described as a black male, five foot six inches to five foot ten inches, of average build; wearing tan Khaki pants, a light blue button down dress shirt, a navy blue blazer, a tan Fedora type hat and Ralph Lauren Polo Shoes.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 804-261-1044. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the subject of this investigation.
