PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) – According to the Petersburg Bureau of Police, murder suspect Dwayne Dominic Hines turned himself over to police around 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday without incident.
Hines, now clean shaven, and his lawyer came to the front lobby of headquarters. Hines was arrested for the murder of Lawrence Johnson that happened on September 1.
Hines of the 24000 block of Gaydell Drive in Dinwiddie County had 1st degree murder and firearm related warrants for his involvement in the death of Lawrence Johnson.
