RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The threat of Hurricane Joaquin has sent many scrambling for supplies in preparation of a potentially destructive storm.
But the latest models show Joaquin is scheduled to pass about 200 miles east of Virginia.
What isn’t going to pass, though, is all this rain. The “mini nor’easter” has been dumping rain across Virginia and isn’t expected to stop until Saturday, creating the possibility of flooding in many areas.
So we ask you: What is going to affect Central Virginia more? The mini nor’easter or Hurricane Joaquin?
