TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A teen is spending her weekend at Baelser’s Market handing out complements to complete strangers.
Terre Haute South freshman, Kelsey Hunt says she’s always wanted to help brighten someone’s day, and that’s exactly what she did Saturday.
Kelsey made 300 cards that have positive messages on them.
She got the idea from YouTube and wanted to do it in her community.
Kelsey says, making someone smile goes along way.
“I’ve always wanted to do this, but I’ve had anxiety problems and I’ve always been down a little bit. So I want to brighten up other people’s spirits,” said Hunt.
And get this! Kelsey is just 15-years-old and she has a big following online. She has more than 1,000 subscribers on YouTube.
