“Congratulations to Lamont Bagby on his election to the House of Delegates. Serving in the House is a unique honor and privilege that comes with responsibility, requires dedication and necessitates sacrifice in order to serve one’s fellow citizens. Lamont now has the opportunity to work with Republicans and Democrats in order to make our Commonwealth a better place to live, work and raise a family. On behalf of the entire House of Delegates, I welcome him to this distinguished body.
“We are grateful to the election officials and volunteers who gave their time and effort to make this special election run smoothly. Their contributions to the democratic process are essential and too often overlooked. I thank them for their service.”
