RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The last weekend of July is wrapping up and it sure has been a great one.
This sunny and dry weather won’t last much longer though. Clouds build tonight and we’ll see shower chances after midnight. Expect lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.
A few of those showers linger early tomorrow morning, but we’ll see dry skies from late morning through much of the afternoon. Expect partly cloudy skies with areas of sun. Scattered rain and storm chances return again after around 8pm. Afternoon high will be near 90.
Tuesday we’ll be in the upper 80s with isolated storm chances, particularly in the afternoon.
Most signs are pointing to a dry Wednesday. Skies will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 90s.
Temperatures continue to creep up a bit Thursday, with a high of 93. A cold front will pass in the evening bringing scattered storm chances beginning in the afternoon.
That cold front stalls just to our south so while we look to dry out for Friday, we’ll still be on the cloudy side of things for the first half of the day. Friday will be near 90.
Next weekend looks to bring more clouds than sun, with storm chances Sunday.
